(Image: Little Manor Care Centre)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Jodie Airey, registered care manager at Little Manor Care Centre, said: &#8220;We are incredibly proud of this result, which reflects the hard work, commitment and compassion of our entire team.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Little Manor was built on a strong sense of purpose during one of the most challenging periods in healthcare, and it is fantastic to see that recognised.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;We remain committed to delivering outstanding care and supporting people in regaining their independence and returning home safely.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Originally developed in partnership with three acute hospital trusts, the centre played a vital role during the Covid-19 pandemic by supporting individuals with Covid who were not eligible for hospital treatment, as well as those requiring end-of-life care.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The CQC report highlighted the centre\u2019s strengths in providing safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It noted clear evidence of people regaining independence, effective teamwork among health and social care professionals, and a well-managed, clean environment.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Following the pandemic, Little Manor was selected to pilot the Pathway 2 Intensive Rehabilitation model.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This programme has since become a key part of the centre\u2019s service, focusing on mobility and independence for people recovering from hospital stays.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It remains the only service of its kind in Wiltshire and is fully funded through the Better Care Fund, a joint investment from Wiltshire Adult Social Care and the NHS Integrated Care Board.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The service, which is free to access, supports the acute trusts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salisburyjournal.co.uk\/topics\/salisbury-district-hospital\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Salisbury District Hospital<\/a>, Royal United Hospital Bath and Great Western Hospital.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The CQC report also noted the centre\u2019s role in supporting timely hospital discharges, helping to reduce pressure on hospital services and improve patient flow.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This has been made possible through strong partnerships with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salisburyjournal.co.uk\/topics\/wiltshire-council\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Wiltshire Council<\/a> social care team, HCRG rehabilitation team and Millstream Surgery.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The report further recognised recent improvements in leadership and governance, alongside the delivery of compassionate, person-centred care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Little Manor Care Centre, in Salisbury, received praise for its high-quality care, rehabilitation services and strong leadership in&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":540990,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[102,2960,56,54,55],"class_list":{"0":"post-540989","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-healthcare","8":"tag-health","9":"tag-healthcare","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom","12":"tag-unitedkingdom"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/540989","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=540989"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/540989\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/540990"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=540989"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=540989"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=540989"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
