Other options include the\u00a0G1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp\u00a0over a mile on September 7, and further down the line, the\u00a0G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes\u00a0at Ascot on October 18.<\/p>\n
One notable absence, however, was his name from the entries for the\u00a0G1 Champion Stakes, also on QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot, which suggests connections are not yet ready to test the colt over 2000 meters.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe plan before Goodwood was to stick to the mile,\u201d Mahon added. \u201cAfter what happened, we haven\u2019t discussed race targets. The priority is his full recovery. Once he\u2019s back to himself, we\u2019ll see what the options are.\u201d<\/p>\n
