The upcoming Elden Ring<\/a> film adaptation from Alex Garland and production company A24 reportedly has a budget of “well over” $100m.<\/p>\n

That’s according to sources who also told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> there will be “around” 100 days of principal photography. <\/p>\n

The publication added Elden Ring is “A24’s largest and most ambitious project” (thanks for spotting, IGN<\/a>). This all means that Elden Ring is a more expensive production than A24’s Civil War and theTimoth\u00e9e Chalamet-fronted Marty Supreme.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the cast for the Elden Ring film was announced<\/a>, with Alien: Romulus and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery actress Cailee Spaeny in a lead role. Other confirmed cast members include Ben Whishaw, Kit Connor, Peter Serafinowicz and Nick Offerman, to name a few. <\/p>\n

We still don’t know who is playing who (or what), though I can see Spaeny as Melina. As for Offerman, surely he will be Iron Fist Alexander, the Warrior Jar. I wonder who will land the role of Miriel, Pastor of Vows? <\/p>\n

The Elden Ring adaptation is set to arrive in theatres on 3rd March, 2028. <\/p>\n

Elden Ring (the game) was initially released back in 2022, and soon became a phenomenal success for developer FromSoftware<\/a>. A DLC known as Shadow of the Erdtree followed<\/a>, as did multiplayer spin-off, Nightreign<\/a>.<\/p>\n
