The company is targeting a market cap between $150 billion and $200 billion in an initial public offering, the Financial Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/dc9d96ed-07e7-4184-8c26-9d4ee29d81a2?syn-25a6b1a6=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reported<\/a> on Tuesday, citing anonymous investor sources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fintech giant, which secured a full banking license in the United Kingdom in March after years of waiting, was most recently <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/11\/24\/revolut-hits-75b-valuation-in-new-capital-raise\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">valued at $75 billion<\/a>, up from $45 billion in 2024, in a secondary share sale that made it one of Europe\u2019s most valuable private tech companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Revolut\u2019s co-founder and CEO, Nik Storonsky, last week said that the company\u2019s IPO was at least \u201ctwo years away,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-04-20\/revolut-ceo-storonsky-says-digital-bank-s-ipo-is-two-years-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to PitchBook and the Financial Times, the company is working on another secondary share sale, scheduled for the second half of 2026, that would value it at more than $100 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of November 2025, the company had raised a total of $5.89 billion, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/my.pitchbook.com\/profile\/104383-72\/company\/deals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">PitchBook<\/a>. Revolut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revolut.com\/news\/revolut_reports_record_profit_of_2_3bn_for_2025_as_revenue_surges_to_6bn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reported<\/a> revenue of $6 billion in the financial year ended December 31, 2025, up from $4 billion in 2024. The company\u2019s net profit grew to $1.7 billion, up from $1 billion in 2024, and counted 68.3 million retail customers at the end of 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Revolut declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 2015, Revolut offers a range of services spanning multi-currency accounts, payment and transfer services, crypto products, insurance, and more. The neobank has been pouring truckloads of cash into expanding its operations internationally, and recently applied for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revolut.com\/news\/revolut_files_u_s_bank_charter_application_names_new_u_s_ceo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a banking license<\/a> in the United States.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides the U.K., Revolut has a banking license in the European Union, and it operates in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, and the U.S. Revolut <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/10\/07\/revolut-aims-to-take-on-indian-banks-and-their-criminal-forex-fees\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">launched operations in India<\/a> last October, is about to start operating in Colombia this year, and has received a banking license in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>When you purchase through links in our articles, <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/techcrunch-affiliate-monetization-standards\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">we may earn a small commission<\/a>.
