{"id":543357,"date":"2026-04-21T19:23:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T19:23:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/543357\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T19:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T19:23:08","slug":"alex-cooper-faces-reported-trouble-at-work-amid-alix-earle-scandal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/543357\/","title":{"rendered":"Alex Cooper Faces Reported Trouble At Work Amid Alix Earle Scandal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCall Her Daddy host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/alex-cooper\/\" id=\"auto-tag_alex-cooper_1\" data-tag=\"alex-cooper\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Cooper<\/a> is facing another bad headline.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAccording <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-04-20\/alix-earle-feud-isn-t-alex-cooper-s-only-problem-as-unwell-network-struggles?taid=69e68a0085041c000182d0a2&amp;utm_campaign=trueanthem&amp;utm_content=business&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">to a new report<\/a> in Bloomberg, there\u2019s been employee turnover and uneasiness amongst the staff at Trending, a company which encompasses Cooper\u2019s Unwell Network of podcasts as well as ACE Entertainment, the production company started by Cooper\u2019s husband Matt Kaplan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPer the report, staff have threatened to quit or walk off the job due to Kaplan allegedly yelling and berating crew and staff members. In one example, at Cooper\u2019s Unwell Winter Games, a YouTube program in which influencers faced off against each other in physical activities and drinking games, Bloomberg wrote that Kaplan \u201cberated the staff,\u201d resulting in a number of formal complaints.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCooper did not immediately respond to a request for comment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe report comes on the heels of an alleged feud between Cooper and Alix Earle, host of Hot Mess, one of the first podcasts to join the Unwell Network in 2023. Earle\u2019s podcast left the network in February 2025, raising speculation about a feud between the two creators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe parting of ways was initially not addressed, but in an <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/alix-earle-opens-up-about-departure-from-alex-cooper-unwell-network-11739941\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">interview with the Wall Street Journal<\/a> around that time, Earle said the departure was \u201cbehind the scenes, a little bit of a hot mess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMore recently, Earle reposted a video criticizing Cooper\u2019s business sense and interviewing of\u00a0subjects in times of vulnerability.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn an April 13 TikTok, Cooper responded saying she was \u201ctired of waking up\u201d and seeing Earle spreading \u201cfake drama.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cHey girl, the passive aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things \u2014 I\u2019ve got to call you out here,\u201d Cooper said in the video. \u201cYou\u2019re going to need to get specific and just say what you\u2019ve got to say about me. There\u2019s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tEarle then responded on social media, \u201cOkay on it!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCooper\u2019s podcast, Call Her Daddy, was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/joe-rogan-podcast-platforms-2025-1236440131\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fourth most popular podcast<\/a> in the world in 2025, according to Spotify\u2019s year-end list.
