Jessie J is gearing up for another surgery this year. In a candid update posted on August 8, the “Price Tag” singer shared an update on her life and her health.<\/p>\n

“I can rest, parent AND release new music. I didn\u2019t leave a major label after 18 years to be scared to re write the rules to fit around my life \/ health. I just have to make it realistic on what I can deliver in all roles in my life,” she captioned an Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Another surgery needed this year. I can do it. \u2714\ufe0f Raising a toddler. I can do it. \u2714\ufe0f
Releasing new music. I can do it. \u2714\ufe0f It will look different to what I had planned but that\u2019s life, things change and either we panic and get mad that it isn\u2019t what is was going to be, or we ADAPT,” she continued, adding, “I\u2019m just flowing with life. Learning about who I am in motherhood and when my health goes left unexpectedly.”<\/p>\n

Jessie J was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She underwent a mastectomy and received good news \u2014 all of the cancer was removed from her body.<\/p>\n

About six weeks later, she was hospitalized<\/a> after experiencing symptoms of a blood clot. Thankfully, doctors didn’t find any clots, but they did notice some fluid in the singer’s lungs and she was treated for an infection.<\/p>\n

Jessie J has previously said that she will undergo reconstructive surgery, which could be the surgery that she’s talking about in her latest health update.<\/p>\n
