The finishing touches are being made to a full-size sculpture of a Lancaster bomber ahead of it opening to the public next month.<\/p>\n
The steel structure, called On Freedom’s Wings, has been installed next to the A46 in Norton Disney, Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n
Work is under way to complete the landscaping at the site, which includes laying thousands of metres of turf.<\/p>\n
The Bomber County Gateway Trust said a weekend of events to celebrate its inauguration would take place, starting on Friday 15 May.<\/p>\n
