So, to keep things short and sweet, here&#8217;s the 10 smallest countries in the world, ranked from smallest (top) to biggest (bottom).<\/p>\n<p>Vatican City \u2013 0.44 km\u00b2Monaco \u2013 2 km\u00b2Nauru \u2013 21 km\u00b2Tuvalu \u2013 26 km\u00b2San Marino \u2013 61 km\u00b2Liechtenstein \u2013 160 km\u00b2Marshall Islands \u2013 181 km\u00b2Saint Kitts and Nevis \u2013 261 km\u00b2Maldives \u2013 298 km\u00b2Malta \u2013 316 km\u00b2<\/p>\n<p>Many of these countries also make up the list of least populated, with the Vatican taking the (cup?) cake, as both the smallest and least populated country on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bitesize\/articles\/zx33qyc\" class=\"ssrcss-xqky4h-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Earth<\/a>.
