Cesc Fabregas\u2019 name will undoubtedly be linked with the Chelsea manager\u2019s job after Liam Rosenior was sacked on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Fabregas<\/a> enjoyed a stellar playing career at Stamford Bridge, winning two Premier League<\/a> titles, and is now excelling as a head coach at Como.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard would be a hugely popular appointment, but Fabrizio Romano<\/a> has revealed why Blues fans should not be excited about his return.<\/p>\n

Romano explained shortly after Chelsea announced Rosenior\u2019s departure<\/a> that Fabregas will not be replacing him this summer.<\/p>\n

Fabregas is \u201ctotally committed\u201d to staying at Como for the foreseeable future, as he is thoroughly enjoying his spell at the Serie A club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are many rumours about Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas is totally committed to the Como project at the moment,\u201d Romano said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFabregas\u2019 idea is to continue next season at Como and to play European football with Como. That\u2019s what Fabregas wants to do.<\/p>\n

Fabregas would certainly have been an exciting option for the Blues<\/a>, but he would be a similar risk to Rosenior.<\/p>\n

While he was obviously a much better player than the Englishman, Fabregas remains very inexperienced as an elite-level manager.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are supposedly exploring a change in approach with their next manager, with more successful coaches on their radar.<\/p>\n

In that case, other potential candidates like Julian Nagelsmann<\/a> and Diego Simeone would probably fit the bill more than Fabregas.<\/p>\n
