The initial tranche \u2013 a limited number \u2013 will be exclusively sold to residents from Ireland with the full public ballot for the rest of the world opening on Wednesday June 3.<\/p>\n<p>A limited number of tickets for the Tuesday and Wednesday practice days will also be available to buy from \u20ac89 (\u00a377), along with tickets for Thursday September 16 \u2013 a day which will feature the opening ceremony \u2013 from \u20ac179 (\u00a3156). In addition, practice-day tickets for fans under the age of 16 can be purchased from just \u20ac20 (\u00a317) on the Tuesday and Wednesday and \u20ac30 (\u00a326) on the Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>An additional benefit for Irish residents will be that thousands of tickets will be available for Tuesday\u2019s practice day as part of the \u201cSuperValu Community Day\u201d courtesy of Musgrave, Ireland\u2019s food retail, wholesale and food service business. Prices for match-day tickets and practice-day tickets will be the same as those in the Irish window.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group\u2019s chief Ryder Cup officer, said: \u201cThere is already tremendous excitement about the Ryder Cup heading back to Ireland and to Adare Manor next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have extensive plans in place to enhance the on-site experience for fans, including a record 20,000 grandstand seats and an increased number of giant screens. For the first time, there will also be an official Ryder Cup campsite with entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also wanted to ensure that as wide a demographic as possible can be part of, and enjoy, this major global sporting event.
