Genesis has announced five updated models and one new frame across its dirt-oriented platforms, the Croix de Fer, Vagabond, and Tour de Fer. Each comes with a host of build-kit updates and other changes to refresh them for 2026. Read all about the changes below\u2026<\/p>\n

The UK\u2019s Genesis has launched a new frameset-only version of their Vagabond model, a gravel bike that can fit 29 x 2.35\u2033 tires, along with a variety of groupset and spec upgrades to their complete Vagabond, Tour De Fer, and Croix De Fer bikes. 2026 Genesis Vagabond<\/p>\n

The Vagabond is the brand\u2019s \u201caggro-gravel, go-anywhere\u201d bike suited for the roughest terrain. Spec\u2019d with their Mjolnir steel tubes and a steel fork, the new Vagabond is suspension-corrected for modern gravel forks that top out at 40mm of travel. The Vagabond uses a T47 threaded bottom bracket, 100 x 12mm and 148 x 12mm thru-axle spacing, EC34 upper and EC44 lower headtube diameters, a 31.6mm seatpost, and it\u2019s designed around two wheel sizes. The XS and SM sizes use 27.5\u2033 wheels, while the rest use 29\u2033 wheels. Each frameset comes with a headset, a seatpost clamp, and thru-axles, and retails for $1,215 (\u00a3899).<\/p>\n

The 2026 Vagabond is also available as a complete. Featuring a pink colorway, the complete Vagabond has a 1 x 10 microSHIFT Sword groupset, tubeless-ready Maxxis Ikons, TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes, and an alloy component finishing kit for the bars and seatpost. The Vagabond 10 retails for $2,430 (\u00a31,799) and is available through any Genesis dealer.<\/p>\n

2026 Genesis Croix De Fer Updates<\/p>\n

The Croix De Fer is the brand\u2019s flagship gravel model. The new updates to its build kits are split into three complete offerings. The Croix De Fer 30, 20, and 10 all see updates for 2026 that claim to improve both the performance and value of their all-rounder platform. The new 30 model features a Shimano CUES build kit with hydraulic brakes, a 2 x 10 drivetrain, tubeless-ready Amplitude G100 alloy wheelset, Reynolds 725 steel tubing, and Maxxis Ramblers. The frame is partially internally routed, comes in a bright yellow color, has 100 x 12mm front and 142 x 12mm rear spacing, and retails for $3,108 (\u00a32,299). <\/p>\n

The Croix De Fer 20 has the same Reynolds 725 steel tubing, but with a lower-spec Shimano CUES 2 x 10 drivetrain, TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes, and an Amplitude G100 alloy finishing kit. The 20 retails for $2,297 (\u00a31,699) and comes in a green colorway. The most affordable entry, the Croix De Fer 10, switches to the brand\u2019s in-house Mjolnir steel tubing. It also has a 2 x 9 Shimano CUES drivetrain, TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes, and the same Amplitude G100 finishing kit. The 10 retails for $2,027 (\u00a31,499) and comes in brown.<\/p>\n

2026 Genesis Tour De Fer Updates<\/p>\n

Finally, the brand\u2019s touring model, the Tour De Fer 30, is getting some updates that align with its design impetus of longevity. With a new 2 x 10 Shimano CUES LINKGLIDE drivetrain, AtranVelo AVS rear and lowrider front racks, Busch & Muller dynamo light set, and Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite rims, it\u2019s a touring bike built for the long haul. The Tour De Fer is made of Reynolds 725 steel tubing, sports QR front and rear, and has clearance for 700 x 40mm tires with the included fenders. Genesis also notes that the included AVS rear rack system boasts a 27-kilogram (nearly 60-pound) load capacity.<\/p>\n
