Frank Lampard has just won promotion to the Premier League with Coventry City, yet he may not be at the club next season.<\/p>\n

After doing an amazing job at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Lampard<\/a> has been linked with a couple of roles in the English top flight.<\/p>\n

The above includes the managerial position at one of Chelsea\u2019s<\/a> London rivals.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace are on the lookout for a new head coach, with Oliver Glasner set to leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season. Lampard appears to be one name on their radar.<\/p>\n

According to TEAMtalk<\/a>, the former Chelsea manager and midfielder is one person currently on the south London club\u2019s shortlist.<\/p>\n

Lampard has managed in the Premier League<\/a> before after spells at Chelsea and Everton and has shown that he can work with whatever the club provide him with.<\/p>\n

Under a transfer ban, Lampard was still able to guide Chelsea to a top-four finish and an FA Cup<\/a> final, utilising the talent from the Blues\u2019 academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That could make him a good fit for Palace, who do not have buckets of money to spend in the transfer window.<\/p>\n

Why Frank Lampard could get another shot at the Chelsea job one day<\/p>\n

Chelsea will be on the search for a new manager themselves this summer. After losing yet another game in the Premier League, Liam Rosenior<\/a> has been sacked.<\/p>\n

It is unlikely that the Club World Cup<\/a> winners turn to Lampard, but it is not impossible that they do so later in the future.<\/p>\n

Chelsea go through managers like water. At this rate, they are going to run out of new names and will probably have to start considering people they have previously employed.<\/p>\n

Todd Boehly<\/a> and Clearlake Capital have already turned to Lampard during an emergency situation, hiring him as interim manager after sacking Graham Potter. Maybe they will do the same thing again one day.<\/p>\n

As for Rosenior, he was not wise to take the Chelsea job<\/a> in the first place. It is available every other season. The former Strasbourg boss should have waited until he was more prepared for it. <\/p>\n
