Ashley Roberts left camp disappointed after failing an I’m A Celebrity challenge – and admitted she was backing Adam Thomas<\/a> in his row with Jimmy Bullard<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old Pussycat Doll singer and radio DJ, was sent home after being the slowest camp mate to complete a game called Keys to Success.<\/p>\n

After hugging campmates she walked out and was asked by Ant and Dec<\/a> about the spat between Jimmy and Adam. She said of Jimmy: \u201cI don\u2019t know what was going on in his head. But it didn\u2019t feel fair on Adam. Just get in there and get a bit filthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an exit interview back at the hotel she also reflected on her own exit and added: \u201cAs much as I\u2019m bummed to be going out, making it so close to the final four, I feel like I\u2019ve done myself proud. I got my hands dirty, faced some fears, met some amazing new people, walking away with memories for life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Praising her camp mates she said they had bonded so they could discuss almost any topic including personal ones.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cHoney, there was a wide spectrum of convos. We went from light-hearted, silly, goofy stuff to, you know, really deep-rooted, human experience stuff that we all have gone through. Sometimes it\u2019s scary to be vulnerable but you realise that when you share, we\u2019re all going through something. Everyone has a story and nobody gets out unscathed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having previously competed in 2012 she added: \u201cIt\u2019s been fourteen years. I\u2019ve been through a lot of different life experiences since, some good, some bad. So, walking in with a different head on my shoulders, really wanting to prove to myself that I could do it. The camp was cool. I loved that waterfall. That was so magical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked what made this second time better than the first, she said: \u201cI think proving to myself [I could do it]. To reignite that empowered feeling within me is exciting. Also friendship. I made some friendships in the last one, but these feel even more deep rooted. I feel like I\u2019m really going to be hanging out with everybody on the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley praised Mo\u2019s cooking for really helping the celebs enjoy their time in South Africa and insisted David Haye had \u201ca good heart\u201d.<\/p>\n

But she saved her biggest compliment for new close friend Scarlett Moffatt. She said: \u201cMe and Scar became little bush sisters. We\u2019d give a little look and knew what each other were thinking.<\/p>\n

“We just had each other’s back throughout it all. This Legends series was not a joke. It was really, really tough, so it was good to have really amazing, beautiful humans to lean on.\u201d<\/p>\n
