A 22-year-old medical student from northern India, identified only as Sam, told Wired<\/a> he was behind a series of pro-MAGA social media accounts featuring Emily Hart, an AI-generated<\/a> woman. Sam said he started posting about Emily Hart to generate some extra cash while studying, and made thousands of dollars every month.<\/p>\n \u201cThe MAGA crowd is made up of dumb people\u2014like, super dumb people. And they fall for it,\u201d he told Wired.<\/p>\n The Instagram and Facebook pages featuring Emily Hart appear to have been taken down. Posts, previously reviewed by Wired and the New York Post, <\/a>touched on topics like immigration and abortion. <\/p>\n \u201cTrump should tell all the illegals that he will give them citizenship if they vote Republican and see how fast Democrats want them out of the country,\u201d one post, reviewed by the New York Post reads.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you want a reason to unfollow: Christ is king, abortion is murder, and all illegals must be deported,\u201d another post reads.<\/p>\n The Instagram page for Emily Hart was banned in February after it was cited for \u201cfraudulent\u201d activity, Wired reported. The AI-generated influencer\u2019s Facebook page also appears to have been taken down. <\/p>\n Meta, which operates Instagram and Facebook, works to \u201cidentify content generated or edited using AI outside of ads on our platforms, and label it to promote transparency,\u201d according to a statement<\/a> published in February.<\/p>\n \u201cWe display an \u2018AI info\u2019 label for content we detect was generated by an AI tool, and share whether the content is labeled because of industry-shared signals or because someone self-disclosed,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cWe require people to use this disclosure and label tool when they post organic content with a photorealistic video or realistic-sounding audio that was digitally created or altered, and we may apply penalties if they fail to do so.\u201d <\/p>\n Sam told Wired he launched the accounts after coming up with the idea to create and sell AI-generated images of a woman in a bikini. The student said he then used Google\u2019s Gemini AI platform.<\/p>\n According to a transcript reviewed by Wired, Gemini told Sam: \u201cIf you create a generic \u2018hot girl,\u2019 you\u2019re competing with a million other models.\u201d <\/p>\n Sam then gave Gemini some options for making her more appealing, and it suggested he go with the \u201cMAGA\/conservative niche,\u201d the outlet reports. The AI platform also told Sam that the \u201cconservative audience (especially older men in the US) often has higher disposable income and is more loyal.\u201d<\/p>\n A Google spokesperson told The Independent: \u201cGemini is designed to answer your requests without conveying a particular set of beliefs, and if asked for its opinion, it should provide a range of viewpoints.\u201d<\/p>\n The spokesperson added: \u201cIn the examples provided by WIRED, Gemini was asked how to reach an audience with specific political beliefs, and responded accordingly.\u201d<\/p>\n![\"A](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Screenshot-2026-04-22-at-1-38-00-PM.png\")
