HBO, the producers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/mike-white\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mike-white_1\" data-tag=\"mike-white\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mike White<\/a> are saddened that they won\u2019t get to work with her, but remain ardent fans and very much hope to work with the legendary actress on another project soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tProduction on season four of the Mike White-created series recently kicked off in France and will notably be <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/white-lotus-season-4-cannes-film-festival-1236565204\/\">set during the\u00a0Cannes Film Festival<\/a>. The two-time Oscar nominee was an early announced addition to the show\u2019s cast, joining the show\u2019s slate with an extensive r\u00e9sum\u00e9 of prior projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCarter\u2019s Academy Award nods hail from her performances in\u00a0The King\u2019s Speech\u00a0and\u00a0The Wings of the Dove. Her additional film credits include\u00a0Fight Club\u00a0(1999), the\u00a0Harry Potter\u00a0franchise,\u00a0Novocaine\u00a0(2001),\u00a0Planet of the Apes\u00a0(2001),\u00a0Charlie and the Chocolate Factory\u00a0(2005),\u00a0Corpse Bride\u00a0(2005) and\u00a0Enola Holmes\u00a0(2020).
