Graeme Le Saux has issued a stark warning to Andoni Iraola, cautioning the Bournemouth boss against joining Chelsea amid their current situation.<\/p>\n

Graeme Le Saux was a non-executive director at Mallorca. During this period, Le Saux monitored the Spanish landscape, witnessing Andoni Iraola<\/a>\u2019s rise through the ranks at Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I mean, I know Andoni Iraola well from my time in working in Spanish football when he was at Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano, and he\u2019s a fantastic coach. What he\u2019s done at Bournemouth is absolutely tremendous.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s a serious manager. So I would, if I was speaking to Andoni, I\u2019d be saying, do you want to be the next one put into that mangle and spat out the other side?<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause we\u2019ve seen Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino have gone in Graham Potter. You know, it doesn\u2019t matter how much experience you\u2019ve got. You\u2019ve got to align everything and give the coach autonomy in certain decisions and then allow the strategists at the club to build the plan, but not at the cost of what\u2019s happening on the pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019m afraid when you look at what\u2019s happening on the pitch, that\u2019s exactly the outcome they\u2019ve managed to deliver.\u201d<\/p>\n

Graeme Le Saux enjoyed two successful spells at Stamford Bridge, making over 300 appearances for the club. A technically gifted left-back, he was a vital component of the trophy-laden side of the late 1990s, winning the League Cup, the Cup Winners\u2019 Cup, and the FA Cup during his second stint.<\/p>\n

During Le Saux\u2019s time, Chelsea was owned by the outspoken Ken Bates, who saved the club from bankruptcy for \u00a31 in 1982. <\/p>\n

That era saw signings like Ruud Gullit and Gianfranco Zola with aging facilities and looming financial instability before Roman Abramovich\u2019s 2003 takeover.<\/p>\n
