A social media influencer has died six days after a car hit her and other pedestrians outside a nightclub in London, police said.<\/p>\n
Klaudia Zakrzewska, 32, was injured in Argyll Street, Soho, at about 4.30am on 19 April and was pronounced dead on Saturday.<\/p>\n
A 58-year-old man suffered life-changing injuries in the incident.<\/p>\n
Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor finalist, appeared in court on Tuesday accused of trying to kill Zakrzewska outside the Inca nightclub.<\/p>\n
The attempted murder charge will be increased to murder after Zakrzewska\u2019s death, the Metropolitan police said.<\/p>\n
Zakrzewska was a TikTok and Instagram influencer from Essex known by the moniker of Klaudiaglam.<\/p>\n
Carrington, 29, of Broadfield Road, Manchester, is accused of dangerous driving, being nearly twice the drink-drive limit and causing injuries to two other people \u2013 a third woman and a security guard \u2013 who were also allegedly hit by her Mercedes.<\/p>\n
DCI Alison Foxwell, who is leading the investigation, said: \u201cWe would like to express our deepest sympathies to Klaudia\u2019s family and friends in light of this tragic update.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur thoughts are also with everyone impacted by this incident.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe recognise that this case has generated significant interest and discussion on social media; however, we would urge the public to refrain from further speculation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Foxwell added: \u201cWe also ask that people do not share graphic footage out of respect for Klaudia\u2019s loved ones and for those who have been injured.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe circulation of such material could also undermine our ongoing criminal investigation and potentially prejudice future court proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nearly \u00a318,000 had been crowdfunded for Zakrzewska\u2019s treatment and her family\u2019s legal fees.<\/p>\n
The GoFundMe page, said to be set up by her mother, said: \u201cIf at any time things take a turn for the worst, additional funds will go towards funeral costs and continuous support for the family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Her mother, Kinga, said on the page: \u201cThose who know me understand how much I love my daughter and what a special bond we have, and I cannot give up on my baby girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cAnyone who knew my gorgeous daughter knows how truly wonderful she is. She has touched so many people with her pure heart and kindness, and she deserves every chance to keep fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n
Carrington made it to the X Factor live finals in 2013 as one of the three members of Miss Dynamix.<\/p>\n
