\n LED Studio Ltd, which designs and manufactures giant LED television-style displays for commercial venues, has appointed administrators after 16 years in business, according to an Express report.\n<\/p>\n
\n The company is based at Basingstoke\u2019s International Business Park in Chineham, from where it has operated what is billed as Europe\u2019s largest dedicated LED display showroom, supplying oversized screens for retail environments, sports arenas and public venues.\n<\/p>\n
\n Insolvency specialists Andrew Watling and Michael Ian Field, of Opus Restructuring, have been appointed to oversee the administration.\n<\/p>\n
\n Public notices filed in The Gazette show the pair were brought in on April 20, with the process giving the business some protection from legal action while options are explored, including a possible sale of assets or restructuring.\n<\/p>\n
\n Company accounts to December 2024 list 15 employees, but do not disclose turnover or profit figures, and the future of the workforce is unclear.\n<\/p>\n
\n Firms can sometimes continue to trade in administration while administrators assess whether parts of the business can be rescued, but there has been no public statement so far on what this will mean for day-to-day operations in Basingstoke.\n<\/p>\n
\n LED Studio was founded in 2010 and had grown into a UK-owned brand with international reach, opening offices and showrooms in the United States, Cyprus and Dubai.\n<\/p>\n
\n By 2019 it was marketing itself as one of the global LED sector\u2019s \u201cbest-kept secrets\u201d, working with clients needing large-format digital displays for stadiums, shopping centres and other high-footfall sites.\n<\/p>\n
