A major security operation is under way in Belfast following an incident outside a PSNI station.<\/p>\n
The police have sealed off roads leading to Dunmurry police station in the south of the city.<\/p>\n
It follows reports of a loud bang and videos circulating on social media of a vehicle on fire at the station around midnight.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the PSNI said it is attending the scene of a “security alert” in the Kingsway area of Dunmurry.<\/p>\n
Fire crews and police officers worked together to put out the blaze.<\/p>\n
The PSNI said cordons had been placed in the vicinity of the scene and an evacuation took place.<\/p>\n
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.<\/p>\n
