Music fans in Liverpool<\/a> are already spoilt for choice. Whether you’re an indie kid pointing your Doc Martens in the direction of the Jacaranda or a basshead taking your bucket hat to 24 Kitchen Street, there\u2019s no end of amazing venues in the city.<\/p>\n

Festival-wise, too, you can\u2019t do much better than Sound City (a sort of northern Great Escape), Liverpool International Music Festival (a mecca for poptimists) or Creamfields (AKA the rave capital of the universe). There\u2019s also a lot of historical stuff to see about some band from the \u201860s, but we can\u2019t quite remember their name right now.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the town\u2019s already jam-packed music scene is about to get even more crowded, as No Art Liverpool is set to return with an increased capacity this year. The ultra-cool house and techno-centred one-dayer touched down\u00a0on Merseyside for the first time last year and proved such a success that it\u2019s set to take over Otterspool Promenade once more.<\/p>\n

No Art Liverpool will take place on Saturday, August 8. The line-up has yet to be announced, but last year it boasted the likes of Bosnian-German DJ Solomun, Liverpool producer Bontan and headlining house duo ANOTR. Expect this year\u2019s event to be just as impressive.<\/p>\n

An Entwine Live spokesperson promised much the same: \u2018We’re pleased to be bringing No Art Liverpool back for a second consecutive year. With much bigger production and a massive line-up waiting to be revealed \u2013 we promise you, you’re going to love it.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n

ANOTR launched No Art back in 2018. The event started as a party and associated events in the duo\u2019s native Amsterdam<\/a>, before it became a festival in the city in 2022. Since then, it\u2019s gone from strength to strength, with iterations in Ibiza<\/a>, Barcelona<\/a>, Miami<\/a>, Rio De Janeiro<\/a> and\u00a0S\u00e3o Paulo<\/a>. This summer it\u2019s hosting another event in the northwest, near Manchester<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Liverpool No Art debut sold out, so it\u2019s no surprise that the city has welcomed\u00a0the\u00a0event back with open arms. Basically, it\u2019ll be like a little piece of Ibiza has landed in the UK \u2013 especially if the production really is bigger, as that spokesperson promised. When the festival announced its return to the northern city on Instagram, punters were absolutely delighted. \u2018This will be boss\u2019 one wrote, while another added: \u2018Let\u2019s get it Liverpool!\u2019<\/p>\n

A promo<\/a>, shot on Brunswick Street, shows impeccably dressed dancer Shameer Rayes grooving through the city, soundtracked by the summery ANOTR anthem \u2018Talk To You\u2019. Eventually, he passes a red poster that declares: \u2018NO ART LIVERPOOL\u2019. Sold!<\/p>\n
