I think that is one of the reasons I\u2019m having this moment to be honest, is because I was identified in that moment, so people are hiring me again.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/edinburgh-festival\/edinburgh-fringe-2015-scoobydoo-star-matthew-lillard-struggles-to-get-noticed-10447728.html\">Lillard <\/a>rose to prominence with roles like Stu Macher in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/scream\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scream<\/a> (1996), went on to play Shaggy in the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/films\/news\/scooby-doo-getting-new-live-action-film-for-some-reason-9544892.html\">live-action Scooby-Doo films<\/a> released in 2002 and 2004, and acted in films like She\u2019s All That and The Descendants. <\/p>\n<p>On the podcast, Davis joked that casting directors were looking back to find a \u201cfamiliar face from when people felt better about their lives\u201d and returning actors like Lillard to the screen hoping it would make \u201cpeople feel better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat&#8217;s why I\u2019m working. He is also appearing in the second season of the Prime Video series Cross, where he plays Lance Durand.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"
