When Daizen Maeda is in full flow, there are few Celtic players more thrilling to watch, simply because his relentless style is absolutely devastating to the opposition.<\/p>\n

That was proven when Celtic<\/a> kicked off their post-split fixtures with a bang on Saturday evening in front of a raucous Parkhead crowd. <\/p>\n

Maeda netted a brace against Falkirk<\/a>, boosting Celtic\u2019s title chances, and Kieran Tierney<\/a>, who is playing alongside the Japan star for the first time this season, is now getting a flavour of what he is all about. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s unstoppable,\u201d stated Tierney. \u201cThere is no player like him. When he plays like that, it lifts the whole team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Was that Daizen Maeda\u2019s best performance of the season? <\/p>\n

This has largely been an unforgettable season for Maeda<\/a>, scoring just nine goals in all competitions before the Falkirk match. <\/p>\n

Remember, only last season, Maeda<\/a> was winning Scotland\u2019s PFA Player of the Year after firing in 33 goals in all competitions. <\/p>\n

But if the all-action forward can transform unforgettable into \u2018unstoppable\u2019 for every remaining game in the post-split fixtures, then Martin O\u2019Neill will be lifting the Premiership title in May. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s very promising from a Celtic perspective is that everything fans saw against John McGlynn\u2019s side was Maeda in an absolute nutshell<\/a>. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s why on Celtic TV<\/a>, Tierney was going one better and stating that \u2018there is no player\u2019 like Maeda, and the effect his in-form presence has on the rest of his teammates. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut this guy is on fire now,\u201d said Tierney as Maeda stood next to him. \u201cHe\u2019s unstoppable. There is no player like him. When he plays like that, it lifts the whole team. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was up there (in one of my best goals at Celtic Park<\/a>). I was just happy to get the goal. I think the second goal is crucial, right before half-time as well. It settled everyone a bit, so delighted for it.\u201d <\/p>\n
