{"id":554666,"date":"2026-04-28T07:43:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T07:43:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/554666\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T07:43:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T07:43:08","slug":"ai-trial-reduces-dorset-care-home-falls-and-ambulance-callouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/554666\/","title":{"rendered":"AI trial reduces Dorset care home falls and ambulance callouts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">According to Dorset Council, the trial had significant success at five of the six care homes taking part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Alexandros Gavriilidis, strategic commissioning lead at the council, said AI technology has a big part to play in the care sector: &#8220;It has changed the way care is being delivered at night, reducing the need for scheduled checks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;This leads to better night-time routines, better sleep.
