The \u2018secret daughter\u2019 of\u00a0Freddie Mercury<\/a>\u00a0has made an emotional statement about her late father.<\/p>\n Following the death of the Queen<\/a> frontman in 1991, the woman \u2013 who is known only as B \u2013 shared her words ahead of the publication of a book about her relationship with the Queen frontman.<\/p>\n In it, she says: \u2018I didn\u2019t want to share my Dad with the whole world.<\/p>\n \u2018After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my Dad now belonged to everyone.<\/p>\n \u2018I cried and mourned my Dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old, it\u2019s not easy.<\/p>\n \u2018I had to become an adult without him, and live all the structuring moments and events without his support.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018For 30 years I had to build my life and family without him and accept that he wouldn\u2019t be there to share the happy moments with us. For 30 years, while the rest of the world was reinterpreting Mercury\u2019s life, his music and all that he had been, I needed to have my Dad just for me and my family. How could I have spoken before?\u2019<\/p>\n The alleged daughter\u2019s statement comes after Mercury\u2019s former lover and close friend, Mary Austin, claimed she did not know that B existed.<\/p>\n Mercury famously had relationships with both men and women throughout his life, having once stated\u00a0he was bisexual<\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u2018love of [his] life\u2019, though, was Austin, whom he began dating in the early 70s and enjoyed a long-term romance with. <\/p>\n Austin, who inherited much of Mercury\u2019s fortune and avoids the media, cast doubt on B\u2019s book, which is called Love, Freddie, coming out in September.<\/p>\n B told the Daily Mail <\/a>in response that: \u2018I am devastated by Mary Austin\u2019s alleged response. For 34 years, the truth of Freddie\u2019s life has been distorted, twisted and rewritten, but she said nothing \u2013 with the exception of her comment about the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, which she called \u201cartistic licence\u201d.<\/p>\n \u2018Here, she has not yet read the book, yet she apparently makes this statement. I don\u2019t understand why.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t B\u2019s book discusses her birth a year after Bohemian Rhapsody became a hit in 1976.<\/p>\n She claims her rock star father allegedly fathered a child<\/a> with another woman after striking up a brief fling with a pal\u2019s wife.<\/p>\n After facing questions about the claims, Jones shared a defiant message on social media <\/a>back in May.<\/p>\n \u2018To those \u201cdemanding\u201d to see proof of a DNA test, otherwise they won\u2019t believe it \u2013 please rest assured that the requisite verification was obtained, legal teams have been involved, but that such measures are private & not shared publicly. Thank you,\u2019 she posted on X.<\/p>\n \u2018Before that comment, she had also shared: \u2018I\u2019m so grateful for all the love for my forthcoming book Love, Freddie! Pre-orders drove it to the top of THREE Amazon charts this w-e, & it\u2019s not even out for another 12 weeks! Thank you all.<\/p>\n \u2018And to those insisting Freddie Mercury\u2019s diaries were \u201cfaked with AI\u201d, that his daughter \u201cdoesn\u2019t exist! & that I\u2019ve made the whole thing up: wait & see! His true story, told in his own words, is incredible. I love him all the more for it.
