NTE: What Is It and When Can You Start Playing?

NTE, or Neverness to Everness, is a free-to-play open world gacha game similar to Genshin Impact<\/a> and Wuthering Waves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Its big twist is that it mixes combat with GTA Online<\/a>-style life sim elements, meaning you\u2019ll be able to buy an apartment, decorate it, and invite characters over to spend time with you.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to take on part-time jobs, engage in street races (both online and offline), and follow a Control<\/a>-esque storyline involving dangerous Anomalies.<\/p>\n

The game launches globally at 3AM UTC on 29th April.<\/p>\n

For those of you not sure how that translates to your time zone, that\u2019s 8PM PDT on 28th April \/ 11PM EDT on 28th April \/ 3AM BST on 29th April.<\/p>\n

NTE: Can You Pre-Load on PS5?

You can pre-load NTE on PS5, but you\u2019ll need to purchase<\/a> its $9.99\/\u00a37.99 pre-order pack to do so. The file size is 46.5GB.<\/p>\n

NTE: Is It Pay-to-Win?
\n\"PS5's<\/a><\/p>\n

No, NTE is a predominantly single player open world experience with some online multiplayer aspects, such as street racing.<\/p>\n

The gacha system is one of the most generous in the industry right now, guaranteeing you unlock each banner\u2019s promoted character within 90 pulls.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no 50\/50 like in Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail<\/a>, meaning once you reach the \u201cpity\u201d level of 90 pulls, you\u2019ll be guaranteed the highlighted S-Rank.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, S-Rank rates will be significantly boosted once you reach 70 pulls, meaning there\u2019s a good chance you\u2019ll land the character you\u2019re after a few pulls earlier than \u201cpity\u201d.<\/p>\n

Weapons, meanwhile, will be unlocked by pulling on the Arc Research Program, which uses a separate currency called Tri-Keys.<\/p>\n

Each pull costs 10x Tri-Key and you\u2019ll be guaranteed an A-Rank weapon each time. S-Ranks will drop every six pulls, while you\u2019ll be guaranteed the promoted weapon within eight pulls.<\/p>\n

So, to summarise, you\u2019ll need 80x Tri-Key to guarantee you get your favourite character\u2019s signature weapon.<\/p>\n

NTE: Are There Any Free Characters?
\n\"PS5's<\/a><\/p>\n

Yes, you\u2019ll get three free characters just for playing NTE, and a further fourth S-Rank for pulling on the Standard Board 50 times.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a breakdown of all the free characters and how to get them:<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll get 20% off your first five 10-Roll pulls on the Standard Banner, meaning it\u2019ll cost you just 40 pulls to get your first S-Rank. You\u2019ll also be able to pick which character you want, so no need to re-roll here.<\/p>\n
