(Image: Caroline Sikkenk)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For some of the women featured, including model Jackie McRae, the Western General Hospital holds particular significance as the place where they received treatment.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The exhibition comes to Edinburgh following a private showing at the Scottish Parliament and will be displayed in a hospital setting for the first time.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Lisa Allen, from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinkribbonfoundation.org.uk\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pink Ribbon Foundation<\/a>, said: &#8220;The Pink Ribbon Foundation is proud to be partnering with the Western General to bring each of the moving portraits in this exhibition to a setting where they can provide inspiration and strength.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;We see this as a truly fitting location for BOLD and are grateful to everyone involved for helping us bring the exhibition back to Edinburgh and to a unique place like the Tonic Arts Gallery.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A launch event will take place at the gallery on May 7 from 5pm to 7pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BOLD model Jackie McRae.
