Apple also added a new alarm feature in iOS 26.4 that\u2019s built specifically for Apple Watch owners.<\/p>\n<p>iOS 26.4 lets your iPhone play alarm sounds even when you wear Apple Watch to bed<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Macs-and-Apple-Watch-to-be-hit-by-Trump-tariffs-starting-on-August-1.jpg\" alt=\"Macs and Apple Watch to be hit by Trump tariffs starting on August 1 | Ultra model pictured\" class=\"wp-image-1008992\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Alarms are one of my favorite Apple Watch features, and the thing that got me sleeping with a Watch before sleep tracking and <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2025\/11\/10\/ios-26-2s-new-sleep-score-grades-already-feel-like-an-upgrade\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1027577\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sleep scores<\/a> were a thing.<\/p>\n<p>When you wear an Apple Watch to bed, alarms set on your iPhone will by default only trigger on your Watch.<\/p>\n<p>My Apple Watch is almost always in silent mode, so alarms set off a series of haptic vibrations. This is fantastic when sleeping next to a partner, or if there are kids asleep nearby that I don\u2019t want to wake.<\/p>\n<p>But if you need a more forceful wake-up, the Apple Watch taking over alarms may not be a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully though, Apple now finally offers a solution. If you sleep with Apple Watch and need a loud iPhone alarm to get woken up, this one\u2019s for you.<\/p>\n<p>New in iOS 26.4, when adjusting your Sleep Schedule alarm, there\u2019s a new toggle available: \u2018Always Play on iPhone.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ios-26-4-alarm-iphone.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1050153\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u2019Always Play on iPhone\u2019 does the following, per Apple\u2019s description:<\/p>\n<p>When you wear your Apple Watch to bed, your alarm will play on your iPhone and Apple Watch.<\/p>\n<p>The setting is disabled by default, but you can find it when editing your Sleep Schedule in either the Clock app on iPhone or in Apple\u2019s Health app.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re just using a one-off alarm, you won\u2019t find this setting. But for anyone who\u2019s set up a Sleep Schedule and has an Apple Watch, the new setting will be available.<\/p>\n<p>So if you want the benefits of sleep tracking and watchOS 26\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2025\/11\/25\/watchos-26-brings-two-powerful-health-features-for-apple-watch\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"1023113\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new sleep score feature<\/a>, but still need a loud alarm to start your day, iOS 26.4 has you covered.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever wished Apple offered an alarm setting like this?
