American wildcard Taylor Townsend moved into the round of 32 of the Cincinnati Open by beating Russian Liudmila Samsonova (photo), the No 13 seed, 6-2, 6-4 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Saturday evening. Townsend, ranked No 75, will play Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro next. The American won against Danielle Collins (6-4, 7-6 (2)) ahead of her victory.<\/p>\n
