Head coach Keith Andrews has provided an update on four players ahead of Brentford’s Premier League game against West Ham United at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off BST).Andrews discussed Rico Henry (hamstring), Vitaly Janelt (metatarsal), Jordan Henderson (absent since the international break) and Josh Dasilva, the latter of whom returned to a matchday squad for the first time since January 2024 when the Bees were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
“Vitaly and Jordan<\/a> are pretty close, so we\u2019ll make a decision on that tomorrow, but they\u2019ve made good progress,” Andrews<\/a> revealed. “Rico is not as close.<\/p>\n “Josh<\/a> had to work really hard to get back to this point, so it was lovely to have him as part of the squad. He wouldn\u2019t be on the bench if I didn\u2019t think he could make an impact of sorts.<\/p>\n “We haven\u2019t really wanted to shout about the progress he’s making from the rooftops and add more pressure to his journey back, which has obviously been very, very long.<\/p>\n “We\u2019re very careful around how and when we train him. We still need to look after him really carefully but he\u2019s looking pretty free and has trained really well over the last few weeks.”<\/p>\n F\u00e1bio Carvalho<\/a> and Antoni Milambo <\/a>will miss the rest of the campaign due to ACL injuries.<\/p>\n
