\n Pensthorpe will unveil the space in partnership with Norfolk artist Claire Frances Smith on Monday, May 25.\n<\/p>\n
\n Housed in the park\u2019s former education building, the gallery will showcase artwork inspired by the Norfolk landscape in a “relaxed, interiors-led” setting.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ms Smith, who will display her original landscape paintings and gicl\u00e9e prints, said: “I\u2019ve always been inspired by the landscapes around me, so being based at Pensthorpe feels like a natural fit.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Their focus on nature and education really aligns with how I approach my work, and I wanted to create a space that feels relaxed and welcoming for everyone.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The gallery\u2019s design aims to make art feel accessible and easy to imagine in visitors\u2019 own homes, and will be styled alongside carefully selected homewares.\n<\/p>\n

\n In addition to the exhibition, Ms Smith will host seasonal painting workshops throughout the year.\n<\/p>\n
\n The first session, an En Plein Air Masterclass titled The View from the Fisherman\u2019s Hut, will take place on June 30 and offer participants the chance to paint outdoors within the reserve.\n<\/p>\n
\n Pensthorpe\u2019s education centre will be relocated and enhanced elsewhere on site over the summer months.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for Pensthorpe said: “We\u2019re always looking for ways to evolve what we offer our visitors and this feels like a natural next step.\n<\/p>\n

\n “The gallery will be free to enter, like our caf\u00e9 and gift shop, adding something new to the overall experience.\n<\/p>\n
\n “At the same time, our investment in a more interactive education space will help us continue to develop how people connect with and learn about nature.”\n<\/p>\n
