Pierce Brosnan<\/a> is known for his dashing good looks, but the beloved Irish actor is almost unrecognizable in the new trailer for Giant.<\/p>\n

The handsome actor, 72, who has tackled diverse roles in films ranging from\u00a0Mrs. Doubtfire\u00a0to James Bond flicks like\u00a0Tomorrow Never Dies\u00a0and\u00a0The World is Not Enough, plays a boxing coach in Giant, which is executive-produced by none other than Sylvester Stallone<\/a>. The film is based on the childhood and life of British-Yemeni boxer Naseem ‘Naz’ Hamed, PEOPLE<\/a> reports. But it’s Brosnan who shocks in the trailer, sporting thinning white hair in the role of Hamad’s trainer, Brendan Ingle.<\/p>\n

“Based on the remarkable true story of legendary British-Yemeni boxing champion Prince Naseem ‘Naz’ Hamed and his relationship with Irish boxing trainer Brendan Ingle,\u00a0Giant\u00a0charts Naz’s inspiring rags-to-riches underdog tale from his humble beginnings in Sheffield to becoming champion of the world,” an official synopsis reads.<\/p>\n

What’s Brosnan’s Secret to His Legendary Hair?<\/p>\n

While Brosnan sports thinning white hair in the movie, he’s known for his lush head of hair in real life. So what’s his secret? He had a delightful answer when asked by\u00a0Page Six<\/a>\u00a0why Irishmen seem to have such good heads of hair.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all in the hair, the old Celtic hair,\u201d he explained, saying that his father, \u201cDear Tom\u2026had good hair. I have no idea. Maybe it\u2019s in the potatoes, or the butter, or the Guinness.\u201d<\/p>\n

When told he\u2019s aging like a fine wine, Brosnan said, \u201cI\u2019m doing my best!\u201d<\/p>\n

One of Brosnan’s recent roles was opposite\u00a0Ben Kingsley\u00a0and\u00a0Helen Mirren<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0The\u00a0Thursday<\/a>\u00a0Murder Club, a\u00a0Netflix<\/a>\u00a0murder mystery based\u00a0on the popular book by\u00a0Richard Osman. His character is a bit of a departure from some of his most famous roles.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s paid the rent over the years and given me the great joy of having the career that I\u2019ve got.\u201d<\/p>\n
