Ryanair, Easyjet, TUI and British Airways,<\/a> says the development signals the “start” of Jet2 providing flights and holidays to the destination.<\/p>\nSamos is “for holidaymakers looking to discover the beautiful Greek island”, it says. The island sits just off the Turkish coast and is brimming with appeal, from its golden-sand beaches to its verdant hills.<\/p>\n
Jet2 will run twice-weekly services (Tuesday and Friday) until the end of October.<\/p>\n
This will be followed by the inaugural flight to Samos from Birmingham Airport on 4 May and another from London Stansted Airport on 7 May.<\/p>\n
Weekly Monday services will run from Birmingham Airport until 26 October, while twice weekly services (Monday and Thursday) are available from London Stansted Airport until 29 October.<\/p>\n
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “As we commence our biggest ever summer programme to Greece, we are pleased to see our first flight to Samos take off from Manchester Airport for Summer 2026.” Heapy went on, adding: “We are already looking forward to seeing our first flights depart from a further two additional UK airport bases, offering customers and independent travel agents fantastic choice and flexibility when it comes to enjoying a sun-kissed holiday.”<\/p>\n
