A body of a woman has been found in woodlands in Cornwall this morning (Sunday, May 3).<\/p>\n

The body was found in woodlands in Killivose, in Camborne<\/a>, at around 7.45am.<\/p>\n

Devon and Cornwall Police<\/a> said it received a report that a body had been located.<\/p>\n

Emergency services attended and a body of a woman was found.<\/p>\n

Enquiries are underway to formally identify the woman and notify her next of kin.<\/p>\n

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.<\/p>\n

A police presence remains in the area.<\/p>\n

A witness said they saw “lots of police cars and three forensic vans” near the woods.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “At 7.45am on Sunday, May 3, we received a report of a body found in woodlands in Killivose, in Camborne.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services attended and a body of a woman was sadly located.<\/p>\n

“A police presence is in the area and enquiries are underway to formally identify the woman and notify her next of kin.<\/p>\n
