Saturday night certainly spiced up some lucky fans\u2019 lives in Leeds<\/a> as Mel B<\/a> joined Melanie C<\/a> in a surprise onstage reunion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair of chart-toppers treated the crowd at Melanie C\u2019s gig to a lively rendition of the Spice Girls<\/a> 1997 number one single Spice Up Your Life.<\/p>\n

They were both part of the Spice Girls\u2019 line-up from 1994 alongside Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, and Victoria Beckham<\/a>, <\/p>\n

When it was shared on social media<\/a> on Sunday by both music superstars, fans also couldn\u2019t over how ageless both Melanies looked, saying it was \u2018just like the old days\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018What freaking year are we in? Y\u2019all don\u2019t age \ud83d\ude2d\u2019 posted Cal in the top comment, with Diedre agreeing and admitting she had initially been \u2018legitmately confused\u2019 while others suggested it could pass for 1996.<\/p>\n

\u2018That and Mel B\u2019s shirt had me genuinely puzzled about what year I was watching! She DEF wore that print in the \u201990s,\u2019 added Lynne Davidson.<\/p>\n

\u2018Looking like 20 years ago,\u2019 chimed in Leo Harley, with another fan suggesting it was \u2018more like 30 years\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Good to be back with my Spice sister\u00a0@officialmelb\u00a0in Leeds, thank you for sharing the stage with me,\u2019 shared Melanie C, 52, in the caption, who released her ninth solo studio album<\/a> on Friday, Sweat.<\/p>\n

Mel B, 50, also appeared delighted at the impromptu duet at Leeds\u2019 Project House as she posted a video of the song as well, writing: \u2018Went to support my northern sister on the launch of her AMAZIN album SWEAT\u2026. and she only ended up bloody gettin me on stage!<\/p>\n

Mel had also lavished her former bandmate with praise before they sang, saying she had made her cry, while Melanie C noted that it was \u2018special\u2019 to be up there with her for the first time since the 2019 Spice Girls reunion tour.<\/p>\n

Melanie \u2013 who has also enjoyed success as a solo artist with hits like I Turn to You and Never Be the Same Again \u2013 recently revealed she had suffered from imposter sydrome at times in her career.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think all humans have impostor syndrome, and if you don\u2019t you\u2019re a psychopath. It\u2019s just a part of human nature,\u2019 she told The Guardian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018When I released Northern Star, I was really determined to be seen as an individual, and I did want people to see there was more to me than just Sporty Spice. I was frustrated that people weren\u2019t ready for the Spice Girls to be solo artists. I completely accept that now, and I love Sporty Spice, and realise it\u2019s such a huge part of who I am as a performer.\u2019<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, she\u2019s also admitted that she\u2019d love to reunite with the other Spice Girls<\/a> at Glastonbury, fanning the flames of the persistent rumour\/hope of many fans.<\/p>\n

\u2018Glastonbury would be the pinnacle, it\u2019s a bucket list. Spice Girls, Pyramid Stage \u2014 I like to think that will happen at some point. I\u2019m very strongly manifesting that it will happen,\u2019 she said while talking to Magidc Radio.<\/p>\n

Melanie also insists that the group still have a distinctive energy, too.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s something about the dynamic of the Spice Girls \u2014 when we\u2019re in a room together it\u2019s electric. It still happens to this day \u2026 there is something magical about those five personalities.\u2019<\/p>\n
