A woman is reportedly offering \u00a3100 to remove the rubbish which she claims was ‘dumped’ in her back garden.<\/p>\n

The woman, who is based in Birmingham<\/a>, offered the work to someone on website Airtasker which allows people to outsource work in the form of everyday tasks.<\/p>\n

Going by the name Chanel C, she said that black bags full of rubbish had been left at her address and that she needed it to be removed.<\/p>\n

She set a price of \u00a3100 for the work and multiple people offered their assistance in the comments.<\/p>\n

It comes as the bin strike dispute is now in its second year, following months of disruption to waste collection services and unwanted headlines about the city.<\/p>\n

Councillor John Cotton, leader of Labour<\/a> -run Birmingham Council<\/a>, announced an end to the strike was \u201cwithin sight\u201d and the local authority was close to settling its dispute with Unite after reaching an agreement.<\/p>\n

But he made clear in his statement the pre-election period prevents the council from making a final decision prior to May 7 \u2013 the day of the local elections<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This update has been met with scepticism and anger from opposition councillors however, with the council\u2019s Tory<\/a> group leader describing it as a \u201cpathetic attempt to use taxpayers\u2019 money to hold on to power before [Labour] disappear into the abyss\u201d.<\/p>\n

The dispute left frustrated residents without a fully functioning waste collection service and rubbish piling up on streets in some cases.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the city, one person offered \u00a390 for rubbish removal and another offered \u00a330 for the service.<\/p>\n

This was for around 18 black bin bags of general rubbish.<\/p>\n

In March, Cllr Majid Mahmood, cabinet member for environment and transport, said: “The bin strike in Birmingham has gone on for too long. I’m sorry for the disruption this has caused, and I would hope Unite would also want to apologise. It isn’t good enough and we want to end the dispute.<\/p>\n

“But let us be clear, the council has made a series of offers to Unite to end the strike, but they have all been rejected.<\/p>\n

“We are moving ahead with the implementation of the improved waste service this summer, a service that has been poor for too long.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis will see the rollout of food waste collections from June this year on a phased basis, along with the return of improved recycling and green waste collection services.<\/p>\n

“This will happen regardless of the situation with industrial action to give the people of Birmingham the waste service they deserve.<\/p>\n

“My message to those still taking industrial action is simple: come back to work as I want you to be part of this new and improved service.
