Katie Price has spoken out over repeated concerns about her weight, sharing a photo of herself on the scales with fans<\/p>\n

Katie Price addressed concerns over her weight on Instagram<\/a>, after fans and famous faces voiced their concerns about her health. The mum-of-five, who married Lee Andrews at the beginning of the year, previously shared that she had sought \u201cmedical help\u201d<\/a> after pictures emerged of her slimmer figure.<\/p>\n

She was even questioned by Susanna Reid<\/a> during an appearance on Good Morning Britain<\/a>, and was forced to confirm that she was not taking weight loss jabs. In a new picture posted on her husband\u2019s story, the 47-year-old\u2019s manicured feet could be seen as she stepped foot on the scales.<\/p>\n

Alongside the snap, was the caption: \u201c7 stone 12 pounds I’ve put on weight. Everyone mentioning my weight here you go I’m healthy.\u201d Katie was inundated with messages from concerned fans at the beginning of the year, with some fearing that she was unwell.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the reaction on her podcast, the former glamour model told sister Sophie Price: \u201cI know I look gaunt, I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t know how many times I have to say to people, ‘Yes I know I’ve lost weight and there’s obviously a reason\u2019, I said it to the doctor. We all know that we’re trying to sort it all out and as soon as I know then I’ll let everyone know.”<\/p>\n

In March, she gave fans an update on her health in March, after host Susanna opened up about her own worries on GMB<\/a>, telling Katie: \u201cCan I ask, because I am concerned about your weight. You are very, very, very, skinny.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

“People that follow me online will know I have lost weight,\u201d she replied at the time. \u201cI recognise I have lost weight. I look too skinny, I look gaunt. So I have been to the doctors, to see why am I losing, I have done all the blood tests, I have even done the poo one, as well, to find out.<\/p>\n

“I said to them, everyone said I am on Ozempic, they said, well we can tell in your bloods you’re not.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am lacking in iron, they are now checking the other bit. And I am going through premenopause at the moment as well. I am healthy, so nobody worry about me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Confirming her stance, the presenter clarified: \u201cYou are healthy, and you are happy?\u201d, to which she added: \u201cYes, very happy.”<\/p>\n
