That title grossed almost $400 million worldwide on a budget of $160 million. Shakman will produce this new entry, plot details of which were not disclosed, alongside Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Scott Aversano is overseeing for the studio. Over 15 years, four films in the modern \u201cApes\u201d franchise have grossed over $2 billion at the global box office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShakman also directed Marvel\u2019s successful first foray into streaming series, \u201cWandaVision.\u201d His credits include helming pilots for \u201cMonarch: Legacy of Monsters,\u201d\u00a0\u201cThe Consultant\u201d and\u00a0\u201cWelcome to Chippendales.\u201d Shakman\u00a0also directed the pilot episode of\u00a0\u201cThe\u00a0Great\u201d\u00a0starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. Other notable work includes\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,\u201d \u201cSuccession\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cGame of Thrones.\u201d\u00a0He also handled the pilot and final episode of the upcoming Siegfried &amp; Roy series\u00a0\u201cWild Things,\u201d\u00a0starring Jude Law and Andrew Garfield.\u00a0Shakman is represented by Untitled Entertainment and CAA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tFriedman is a company man at 20th, having also penned scripts for \u201cAvatar: The Way of Water\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash.\u201d He is repped by UTA.
