Payne died of multiple traumas and “internal and external haemorrhage”, a post-mortem examination report said, after falling from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n
In February last year, a court in Argentina dropped charges of criminal negligence against three of the five people who had been charged in connection with his death.<\/p>\n
After his band took a break, Payne launched a successful solo career, releasing his debut solo album LP1 in December 2019.<\/p>\n
