Careless people: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Green and Lost Idealism by Sarah Wynn-Williams\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is a memoir detailing the author&#8217;s experiences as a former executive at one of the most influential companies on the planet: Facebook.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>3. The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Grief, intimacy and the paradox of joy amid trauma are the themes of this novel about a young man who forms an unlikely bond with an elderly widow.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">4. It Happened on the Lake by Lisa Jackson<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">New York Times bestselling author\u00a0Lisa Jackson, tells the story of a woman who returns to the Oregon town where a nightmare unravelled 20 years ago and is waiting to bury her again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">6. Values: Building a Better World for All by Mark Carney\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mark Carney reminds Canadians that values must be strengthened in order to build a better world for all in this\u00a0non-fiction book by the 24th prime minister of Canada,<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">7. King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The book&#8217;s a gripping roller coaster of dark, suspenseful and dangerous family drama.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>8.
