Sam Burgess is convinced Hull KR\u2019s Arthur Mourgue will make his long-awaited return to face Warrington Wolves in Sunday\u2019s blockbuster Challenge Cup semi-final.<\/p>\n

The French international full-back has been sidelined since suffering a torn pectoral muscle during the Robins\u2019 emphatic World Club Challenge win over Brisbane Broncos at the MKM Stadium.<\/p>\n

His comeback had been pencilled in for later this month against Leigh Leopards – but Rovers head coach Willie Peters has hinted he could yet feature at the Eco-Power Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And Burgess is already preparing for exactly that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been told he\u2019s playing,\u201d said the Warrington head coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether they start him or not, I\u2019m not sure. We\u2019ll take a look at him as we do. He\u2019s a great player, but I think Jack Broadbent has been equally as good, and he\u2019s been in some good form. There\u2019s a tough decision to make there, but we\u2019ll be ready either way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The showdown is a repeat of last year\u2019s dramatic Challenge Cup Final at Wembley – when a late try from Tom Davies turned the game on its head, with Mikey Lewis nailing the match-winning goal.<\/p>\n

This week, both sides arrive in red-hot form.<\/p>\n

Hull KR<\/a> have won six on the spin, piling up 98 points in their last two Super League outings after rediscovering their winning rhythm.<\/p>\n

Their surge has also been recognised in the latest Man of Steel standings, with Jez Litten and Tyrone May in the top three, behind Leeds\u2019 Lachie Miller.<\/p>\n

Stand-off May has quietly become one of the competition\u2019s most influential figures, registering the second-highest assist tally in Super League this year to date – behind only St Helens\u2019 Jackson Hastings.<\/p>\n

And Burgess knows just how dangerous the Australian can be.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s been really impressive,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a really important part of their team, and probably doesn\u2019t get talked about as much because of Jez and Mikey Lewis.<\/p>\n

“But I think everyone is now understanding and seeing the impact he\u2019s having on the group.
