{"id":572142,"date":"2026-05-08T01:50:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T01:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/572142\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T01:50:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T01:50:18","slug":"james-paget-hospital-opens-same-day-emergency-care-unit-in-gorleston-on-sea-united-kingdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/572142\/","title":{"rendered":"James Paget Hospital Opens Same-Day Emergency Care Unit In Gorleston-on-Sea, United Kingdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/services\/hospital\/james-paget-university-hospital\/RGP75\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">James Paget University Hospital<\/a>\u00a0has opened a new same-day emergency care (SDEC) unit in Great Yarmouth, U.K., according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morgansindallconstruction.com\/news\/morgan-sindall-completes-same-day-emergency-care-unit-in-norfolk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The unit took 16 weeks to construct and provides emergency medical care and treatment to patients without the need for hospital admission, allowing them to be assessed, diagnosed, and treated on the same day they arrive.<\/p>\n<p>The facility features 12 chair bays and eight bed bays, a drug preparation room, and three nurses\u2019 stations.
