Dana White has claimed that he will be \u201cpromoting\u201d the highly anticipated heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua later this year.<\/p>\n
The pair are set to collide in November, having been on a collision course for around eight years, though an official date and location are yet to emerge.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, Joshua must defeat little-known heavyweight Kristian Prenga on July 25, when he headlines a show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
This represents his first outing since scoring a sixth-round finish over Jake Paul in December, which preceded the tragic car accident that took the lives of his two close friends.<\/p>\n
Following that incident, in which he was involved, \u2018AJ\u2019 has spent the last few months recovering from both a physical and psychological perspective.<\/p>\n
Fury, meanwhile, returned to action following a 16-month layoff in April, unanimously outpointing Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/a> in his first fight since suffering a second points defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.<\/p>\n With Joshua facing Prenga in July, though, Queensberry promoter Frank Warren has suggested that \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 may enter another tune-up fight<\/a> before they finally lock horns.<\/p>\n At which point, Zuffa Boxing chief White expects to be promoting the all-British event, which is set to be streamed live on Netflix.<\/p>\n
