Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have signed to face off towards the end of this year, provided no injuries or unexpected defeats derail the plans, though not much else has been offered on the fight as of writing.<\/p>\n

The two British rivals have been linked to one another for the best part of a decade. Despite now being in the twilight of their careers and neither holding a heavyweight title, the match-up will still be monumental.<\/p>\n

Despite a recent announcement that it is \u2018signed and sealed\u2019, Anthony Joshua will be having a warm-up fight against little-known heavyweight Kristian Prenga in July. This has led Fury to consider an interim bout of his own.<\/a><\/p>\n

If everything goes to plan, Netflix will be broadcasting the event. With Fury and Joshua\u2019s promoters, Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn, exclusive to DAZN, it is unlikely either promoter will be the lead of the Ring Magazine show.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, Dana White recently revealed that he will be taking that role.<\/a> However, Hearn \u2013 who has been embroiled in a back-and-forth with the UFC head honcho and new boxing promoter \u2013 says otherwise.<\/p>\n

Responding to the reports on social media, the Brit said:<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch a clout chaser. Not a chance and contractually impossible. Let me know when you find your balls.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fury recently headlined a Ring card with his long-term manager Spencer Brown of Goldstar Promotions listed as lead promoter. Hearn will take the lead on the Ring\u2019s May 23 event, topped by Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven, and may have more shows in the works with Turki Alalshikh\u2019s promotional outfit.
