\n Alpha Cars, a recently launched 24\/7 taxi company, marked its arrival in the city with a Star Wars-themed event featuring Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and The Mandalorian, who handed out sweets and merchandise across the town centre.\n<\/p>\n
\n They hit the streets, attracting crowds, on May 4 – also known as Star Wars Day, an annual, unofficial celebration of all things Star Wars.\n<\/p>\n

\n The date comes from the famous line \u201cMay the Force be with you,\u201d reimagined as \u201cMay the Fourth be with you,\u201d which sounds almost identical when spoken.\n<\/p>\n
\n Salisbury residents reacted positively, with many stopping for selfies.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesman for Alpha Cars said: “The response from the public was incredible, with hundreds of flyers and giveaways handed out during the event and lots of positive feedback from local residents and visitors.”\n<\/p>\n
