Apple is testing a new modular watch face for this year\u2019s watchOS 27.<\/p>\n

Each year, as part of its watchOS updates, Apple introduces new watch faces \u2014 either with the software itself or alongside new hardware. Recent additions include Wayfinder, Modular Ultra, and Waypoint for the Apple Watch Ultra, along with broader lineup options like Exactograph.<\/p>\n

For watchOS 27, code-named Orchid, Apple is testing multiple new faces. One in particular stands out: a simplified take on the Modular Ultra design.<\/p>\n

\nIt has the same large clock as the Ultra face but removes the option for a big complication in the center, the row of three smaller complications above the time and information placed around the bezel. The result is a large clock that fills the top two-thirds of the display, with a row of three smaller complications beneath it.<\/p>\n

The move appears aimed at bringing a version of the Modular Ultra experience to standard Series watches, offering something less dense and more approachable while still giving customers useful information at a glance.\n<\/p>\n
