Marcus Rashford was quizzed about his immediate future after Barcelona title win<\/p>\n
Marcus Rashford admitted he would love to extend his spell at Barcelona<\/a>, though he remains unsure what will happen this summer. The 28\u2011year\u2011old, on loan from Manchester United<\/a>, scored the opening goal against Real Madrid with a stunning free\u2011kick<\/a> on Sunday night.<\/p>\n Ferran Torres doubled the lead minutes later as Hansi Flick’s side sealed the La Liga title with a 2\u20110 win over their biggest rivals. Rashford<\/a> is living out a childhood dream with a successful season in Spain after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n With the campaign nearing its end, speculation continues to surround the England international’s future. I am not a magician, but if I was, I would stay. So we will see,” Rashford said in the mixed zone.<\/p>\n The forward is far from a guaranteed starter given the wealth of attacking talent at Flick’s disposal. He is competing with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha for a place in the side, while Barca’s continued reliance on their academy has often left him operating from the bench.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n Reports have suggested the Spanish giants, who continue to face financial difficulties, are unlikely to trigger Rashford’s buyout clause <\/a>while other indications say the transfer fee and wage package are viewed as too high.
