A motorcyclist has died following a two vehicle crash on Anglesey. The collison happened on the A5025 in Llanfachraeth, shortly before 7pm yesterday (Tuesday). A man has been arrested and police have appealed for witnesses.<\/p>\n
A North Wales Police<\/a> Anglesey statement last night said: “We are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on the A5025 in Llanfachraeth, Anglesey<\/a>.<\/p>\n “At approximately 6:57pm on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, we received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a grey Jaguar I-Pace and a white Triumph motorcycle.<\/p>\n “Emergency services attended the incident; however, despite their best efforts, the male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n “The rider\u2019s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist Family Liaison Officers. A male was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.” Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter<\/a> sent twice daily to your inbox<\/p>\n Sergeant Alun Jones from the Roads Crime Team, the lead investigating officer, said: \u201cI would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family at this extremely difficult time.<\/p>\n \u201cThis collision is now being investigated as a fatal road traffic collision, and we are working to establish the full circumstances.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who has private CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that may have captured either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision, to please get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n The A5025 was closed last night for collision investigation work.
