<\/p>\nThe semi-final of the latest run of Race Across The World has aired – and a tense cliffhanger has left fans fearing that one of the teams won’t make it to the finish line next week.<\/p>\n
After in-laws Mark and Margo were seen throughout the episode growing concerned by their dwindling finances, the closing moments saw them emotionally facing up to the fact that they might not have the cash to make it to the end, especially as they were still several hours from the penultimate checkpoint.<\/p>\n
The pair have been racing in honour of Julia – Margo’s late sister and Mark’s late wife. And it’s safe to say that fans will be gutted if they’re forced to bow out.<\/p>\n

Don’t leave me in suspense like that! Mongolia is the grind,” said someone else<\/a>, while a third<\/a> observed: “Mark and Margot didn’t feature in that montage for next week. Bless them, maybe they run out of dosh!!” <\/p>\n Another<\/a> read simply: “oh no Mark and Margo”, while another<\/a> said: “can’t help but love Marges joie de vivre.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, best friends Jo and Kush ended the episode with their lead intact – although father and daughter duo Andrew and Molly closed the gap considerably. Former frontrunners Katie and Harrison, who are siblings, are in third; but they have a big gap to close next week.<\/p>\n BBC<\/p>\n Related: BBC confirms which pro dancers are returning for Strictly 2026<\/a><\/p>\n Jo and Kush continued to prove particularly popular online, with one comment<\/a> reading: “I adore Jo and Kush, they give one another such great support, such a great tight friendship.”<\/p>\n But another<\/a> pointed out that the actual race itself may not be the most important part of the show, saying: “Have you noticed it\u2019s the experiences they have and the people they meet along the way which is really filling the memory banks? That\u2019s what travel can do.
