\n \u201cA much-loved partner, dad, brother, son, friend and colleague has sadly died after an incident on Friday, May 8, 2026,” it said.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We are all struggling to make sense of such a tragic loss to all of our lives.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Rich was a keen NCFC supporter, a blood and organ donor and a proud dad to his three children.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We will remember him with love and kindness and for some truly terrible dance moves.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Smith worked as UK sales manager for Delta Fire, which is based in Norwich and is the nation’s leading manufacturer of firefighting nozzles.\n<\/p>\n
\n A representative for Delta Fire also posted a touching statement on its LinkedIn page.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is with great sadness that we share the news that our much-loved colleague, Richard Smith, passed away following a road traffic incident,” it said.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Richard was a valued member of our team and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working with him.\n<\/p>\n

\n Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service responded, saying: “Our team is so sorry to read this, our thoughts are with Richard\u2019s family, friends and all of his work family at Delta Fire.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Ashley Black, director at CODER, said: “Such sad news. Richard was such a lovely person and it was always a pleasure working with him.\n<\/p>\n
