\u201cWe have an incredible Sky deal so we\u2019re going to do a lot of fights in the UK. Realistically, over the last 15-20 years, boxing has become a European sport. It definitely doesn\u2019t have the same power it had in the United States in the 90s and early 2000s.\u201d<\/p>\n
On rumors of Shakur Stevenson signing with Zuffa<\/p>\n
\u201cDid we announce that Shakur Stevenson\u2026? No? [Smirks]. Possibly. Listen, at the end of the day I think everybody\u2019s going to be here at Zuffa Boxing\u2026I said judge us by our body of work heading into \u201827 so, yeah. I don\u2019t know why I would say things that weren\u2019t true. I mean, look at what we\u2019ve done in just four months.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Roy Jones Jr criticizing their attempts to undermine the Ali Act and saying you have to suck up to get fights at Zuffa<\/p>\n
\u201cI think everybody\u2019s going to have opinions, especially the traditional guys who came up the way that they did\u2026I think if you were to ask any of the fighters, they would tell you that we treat them very well, treat them like professional athletes\u2026I don\u2019t know where that\u2019s coming from but I do like Roy.<\/p>\n
